Unfortunately there is no quick fix but there are things you can do to help your skin:
1.Use a good quality resurfacing cleanser, this will keep your cell turnover active and your skin fresh, we recommend iS clinical cleansing complex or Germaine de Capuccini purexpert cleanser.
2. Include a high quality night serum made with ingredient's such as Willow Bark Extract (a source of Salicylic acid) which encourages desquamation by dissolving debris within the pores & hair follicle. Most will also have an anti-inflammatory effect to reduce redness & bacteria. Try active serum by iS clinical or Germaine de Capuccini Refiner Essence.
3. Use a lightweight SPF daily to protect your skin from UVA/UVB plus airborne toxins and dust. We love Heliocare 360 gel oil free. Not only does it protect from the sunlight but also from blue light emitted from your tech such as mobile phones and computer screens!
4. Cleanse day and night but avoid too many products, keep it simple. Cleanse, serum, lightweight moisturiser (SPF morning only) Choose a science backed company and remember not all expensive products are good for your skin and not all cheap are bad, it all about the research and quality, botanical ingredients.
5.If you can then a course of facials can be beneficial, in clinic treatments can help to unclog pores and target problem areas often with machine based solutions. But our top tip is what you do at home is so much more beneficial than the odd facial so get that routine perfected.
